Gen Z RI (“Gen Z RI,” “we,” “us”) values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. Gen Z RI is an initiative of Shoreham Bank. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information obtained through the Gen Z RI website, event registrations, ticket and sponsorship purchases, and related communications.

Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected in connection with Gen Z RI events and programming. Shoreham Bank’s consumer privacy notice and related disclosures apply to Shoreham Bank products and services and are available through Shoreham Bank’s official channels. (If there is any inconsistency, the Shoreham Bank consumer privacy notice governs for bank products and services.)  

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you register for, attend, sponsor, or purchase tickets for Gen Z RI events, or communicate with us. This may include:

  • Identifiers & contact details: first and last name, email address, phone number

  • Professional details: job title, company name

  • Social information: social media handles (if provided)

  • Transaction information: ticket and sponsorship purchase details

  • Payment information: processed securely by third‑party payment providers. Gen Z RI does not store full payment card information except as handled by our payment processors.

 

Website & Analytics Information

We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our website (for example, pages viewed, traffic sources, approximate location, and device information). We also use Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting. This helps us understand website performance and digital advertising effectiveness. Visitors can opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customize Google Display Network ads at: www.google.com/settings/ads.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process ticket and sponsorship purchases

  • Manage event registration, attendance, and logistics

  • Communicate event details, updates, confirmations, and event‑related notices

  • Facilitate networking among event attendees (see “Networking Contact Sharing” below)

  • Market Gen Z RI events and programming, and send related communications (you may opt out of marketing emails at any time)

 

Networking Contact Sharing

As part of the Gen Z RI networking experience, certain attendee information may be shared with other event attendees to support professional networking and relationship building. The information shared may include first name, last name, job title, company, and email address. By registering for or attending a Gen Z RI event, you acknowledge and consent to this information being distributed to fellow attendees.  

Opt‑Out of Attendee List Sharing: If you do not want your email address included in attendee networking distributions, you may request exclusion by contacting us at contactus@genzri.com at least 48 hours before the event. (We may still need to use your email to send transactional messages such as confirmations and event updates.)
